Lidl Ireland Disrupts Telecom Market with New 'Lidl Connect' Mobile Network
Lidl is officially entering the Irish mobile phone market with the launch of a new SIM-only service called "Lidl Connect". The supermarket chain will officially launch the service on Monday, October 5, 2026. To aggressively capture market share, Lidl is offering its first 100,000 customers a "price for life" plan at just €8.99 per month.

- Reliable Network Infrastructure: Lidl Connect is supported by the Eir network in Ireland and is being delivered in partnership with 1GLOBAL.
- Seamless Setup: Account sign-up and management are done entirely through the Lidl Plus app. Customers can choose a digital eSIM or purchase a physical SIM card for €0.99, which will be available across all 192 Lidl stores nationwide.
